Responsibilities

Design

  • Create, develop, and implement L&D strategies and programs.
  • Work with department heads and key stakeholders to identify training needs, gather inputs, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Analyze and evaluate functional competency, build competency framework and competency dictionaries with OD.
  • Analyze job requirements and evaluate employee competency gaps then work with OD to design development plant to support for performance improvement, succession plan and functional competency upgrading.

Delivery

  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
  • Ensuring timely delivery, effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards which are defined and aligned with department heads and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and select external training vendors and resources as needed.
  • Stay updated with e-learning, implementing tools, training practices and trend to support for training efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Constantly promote and communicate training practices to build learning, sharing, training culture.
  • Apply agile methodology in execution: Build-Measure-Learn

Measurement & Analytics

  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for training effectiveness through feedback and evaluations in both short and long term.
  • Gather and analyze training metrics and data to measure the impact of training programs.
  • Analyze feedback and continuously improve training initiatives.

Budget Management

  • Oversee the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient resource allocation.
Qualifications
  • BS in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or relevant field.
  • Over 4 years experience in training function or similar role.
  • Professional training/coaching certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an L&D Leader, Training Leader or above.
  • Current knowledge of effective training and development methods.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Training/Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.
