Product Backlog Management:

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the product vision and business objectives.

  • Break down high-level features into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Continuously refine and adjust the backlog based on feedback and changing requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand product requirements and expectations.

  • Communicate the product vision and roadmap to the development team and other stakeholders.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for any product-related questions or issues.

Product Roadmap:

  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap.

  • Ensure the product aligns with the company’s overall strategy and goals.

  • Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

Development Team Support:

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure they understand the product backlog and priorities.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Provide timely feedback and clarification to the development team during the sprint.

Product Delivery:

  • Monitor and evaluate product progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.

  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the product meets acceptance criteria.

  • Gather and analyze feedback from users and stakeholders to inform future product iterations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes.

  • Prepare and present regular status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CSPO) are a plus.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience as a product owner or in a similar role in an agile development environment.

    • Proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to launch.

  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management principles.

    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

    • Proficiency in using product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, PowerBI).
