Responsibilities

Agile Process:

  • Participate in the Agile product development process: daily standups, grooming, sprint planning, review, and retrospective.
  • Estimate testing workload and propose improvements to QA processes.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Analyze requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
  • Execute manual testing as primary focus (UI, functional, regression, exploratory).
  • Perform basic API testing (via Postman or similar tools).
  • Prepare testing data and environments.
  • Ensure all test cases are well-documented, reviewed, and up to standard.
  • Manage and track bugs using Jira (or equivalent): create, classify, assign, monitor, and report.
  • Provide test reports and communicate testing progress to the team.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Manager, and Designers to clarify requirements.
  • Provide feedback on usability and user flow to improve overall product quality.
  • Estimate testing workload and suggest improvements in testing processes.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in manual testing.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields (ISTQB certification is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of API testing & database fundamentals.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Tools: Proficient in Excel (test cases, reports), Postman (API testing), SQL/Database tools, and Jira (or similar issue tracking).
  • Language: Good English reading and comprehension skills.
