Job Summary

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our product team and help build an AI-powered SaaS product for ecommerce businesses, merchants, and marketing teams.

Our product helps ecommerce merchants complete complex business workflows faster and more effectively with AI, enabling them to create better outcomes, grow their business, and operate with more confidence. The role is ideal for a PM who can understand customer pain points deeply, work closely with technical teams, and turn complex AI capabilities into simple, useful, and trustworthy product experiences.

You will own product areas where AI is a core part of the user journey. Your focus is not to act as a machine learning engineer, but to define the right product problems, design intuitive AI workflows, validate user value, and ensure the AI output is reliable, understandable, and valuable for real users.

What You’ll Own

1. AI-Powered Product Workflows:

You will own AI-powered workflows that simplify complex tasks, guide users from input to outcome, and help them complete business-critical jobs faster and with higher confidence.

You will define how users provide inputs, how the system guides them, how AI results are generated, how users review and refine outputs, and how the final results are exported or used inside their business workflow.

2. AI User Experience:

You will own the user experience around AI interactions, including how the product builds trust when outputs are imperfect. This includes designing clear input flows, useful previews, explainable outputs, retry and feedback mechanisms, error states, quality signals, and human-in-the-loop interactions.

Your goal is to make advanced AI capabilities feel simple, controlled, and practical for non-technical users.

3. Product Quality and Business Impact:

You will define and monitor success metrics that reflect both product adoption and AI output quality, including user activation, feature usage, retention, output success rate, user-perceived quality, and cost efficiency.

You will use product data, user behavior insights, and customer feedback to continuously improve the product.

What You’ll do

1. Define and Drive AI-Powered Product Features:

  • Identify high-impact customer pain points and explore how AI can solve them in a practical, reliable, and user-friendly way.
  • Turn ambiguous AI capabilities into clear product requirements, user flows, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics.
  • Run rapid prototyping, user validation, and hypothesis testing before scaling features.
  • Work with engineering, AI Engineer, prompt, and data teams to define AI behavior, prompt requirements, evaluation criteria, fallback logic, latency expectations, and quality standards.
  • Prioritize product opportunities based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and AI reliability.

2. Build Simple and Trustworthy AI Experiences:

  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to create AI product experiences that are easy to understand and simple to use.
  • Design user flows that handle uncertainty well, including imperfect outputs, hallucinations, missing inputs, low-confidence results, and failed generations.
  • Create feedback loops that allow users to rate, refine, regenerate, edit, or correct AI outputs.
  • Make sure users understand what the AI is doing, what they can control, and what actions they can take next.

3. Collaborate Across Teams:

  • Partner with engineering to balance stable SaaS delivery with fast AI experimentation.
  • Work with Ai Engineer, prompt, and data teams to improve output quality, model behavior, and product reliability.
  • Collaborate with design to turn complex workflows into intuitive product experiences.
  • Work with business and customer-facing teams to understand customer needs, explain product decisions, and translate technical trade-offs into clear business language.
  • Coordinate with security and compliance stakeholders when features involve customer data, user-generated content, brand assets, or sensitive business information.

4. Measure, Learn, and Improve:

  • Define product KPIs and AI quality metrics for the features you own.
  • Analyze product usage, user behavior, funnel drop-offs, feedback signals, and generation quality to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate whether AI features are solving real customer problems or simply adding complexity.
  • Use both quantitative data and qualitative feedback to make product decisions.
  • Continuously improve prompts, workflows, UX patterns, and product logic based on real user behavior.
What Sets You Apart

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience in a SaaS company, preferably with experience in B2B, B2C, ecommerce, marketing technology, creative tools, automation platforms, or productivity software.
  • Strong product discovery skills, including the ability to identify customer pain points, define problem statements, validate assumptions, and translate insights into product requirements.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and design teams to ship user-facing product features from concept to release.
  • Comfortable working with AI concepts such as LLMs, prompt design, AI-generated outputs, model limitations, latency, cost, and quality evaluation. You do not need to be a machine learning engineer, but you should be able to discuss AI product trade-offs clearly with technical teams.
  • Strong UX judgment, especially for complex workflows where users need guidance, control, feedback, and trust.
  • Data-fluent and analytical, with experience using product analytics, user feedback, funnel metrics, and behavioral data to make product decisions.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical or product problems into clear user flows, product specs, and business explanations.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where AI capabilities, user expectations, and product direction can evolve quickly.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience shipping AI, ML, LLM, or generative AI features in a real product environment.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as RAG, vector databases, agentic workflows, AI agents, embeddings, prompt evaluation, model evaluation, or LLM observability.
  • Experience working on ecommerce, ad creative, content generation, marketing automation, design tools, workflow automation, or merchant-facing products.
  • Experience defining AI-specific product metrics such as output acceptance rate, retry rate, user-perceived accuracy, generation success rate, response latency, or cost per successful task.
  • Experience designing human-in-the-loop workflows where users can review, edit, approve, or improve AI outputs.
  • Comfortable working in a lean product development environment where product scope, user flows, edge cases, and specifications are discussed quickly, refined collaboratively, and supported by AI-assisted documentation.
Personal Qualities We Value

1. Customer-Obsessed:
You care deeply about real user problems and avoid building AI features just because the technology is impressive. You focus on whether the product truly helps users save time, make better decisions, or create better outcomes.
2. AI-Savvy and Adaptive:
You learn quickly, stay updated with AI trends, and can reason through ambiguity. You are comfortable with fast-changing technology, but you know how to separate useful product opportunities from hype.
3. The Simplifier:
You can take complex AI capabilities and turn them into product experiences that feel clear, useful, and easy to adopt. You know that the best AI product does not make users feel the complexity behind it.
4. Trust-Minded:
You care about user trust, data privacy, output quality, and product reliability. You understand that AI products need to handle mistakes gracefully and give users the right level of control.
5. Bias Toward Shipping and Learning:
You prefer fast validation, clear product thinking, and practical execution. You can ship, learn from real usage, and improve continuously instead of waiting for perfect certainty.
