Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from stakeholders by participating in discussions and brainstorming sessions, ensuring the final product aligns with the clarified issues.
- Act as a consultant and propose content design solutions for the product.
- Analyze Empathy Maps and User Journeys of target users to uncover insights and behavioral patterns.
- Apply industry trends, emerging technologies, and widely adopted UX writing methodologies.
- Develop an appropriate tone of voice tailored to the target audience of the researched market.
- Collect user behavior data to support decision-making and measure results.
- Conduct research activities such as surveys and customer interviews to evaluate product usability, identify content-related pain points, and refine content approaches accordingly.
- Support the development of Information Architecture (IA), User Flows, Wireframes, ensuring a logical information structure for seamless navigation, following the designated design direction within assigned tasks or small-to-medium projects.
- Design labels, buttons, menus, error messages, tooltips, notifications, etc., ensuring clarity and consistency across the product.
- Choose precise terminology and assist in structuring and organizing content within the product interface to facilitate intuitive navigation and information flow for users.
- Identify areas for improvement, inconsistencies, or redundant elements in language and messaging and make necessary adjustments.
- Manage in-app content systems.
- Create component alignment to maintain content consistency and clarity within the app.
- Regularly update and adhere to content guidelines within the applied design systems.
- Adapt content into different languages to serve a diverse customer base, ensuring localization aligns with the language and cultural context of the target audience.
- Continuously update knowledge about product technicalities and the Shopify platform to ensure content accurately conveys information to customers.
- Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Scrum Teams to craft and define product feature content.
- Write and update customer guides consistently, ensuring uniformity in content creation and maintenance across the product.
- Ensure all content is clear, user-friendly, and easily accessible.
- Provide input for refining and enhancing the brand voice/communication style guide when needed.
- Participate in process improvement meetings.
- Contribute to workflow optimization based on assigned tasks.
- Suggest necessary training programs to develop skills and expertise.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in content creation (Content Marketing, UX Writing, Technical Writing, etc.).
- Strong writing and reading comprehension skills.
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
- IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent certification (not mandatory).
- Understanding of Agile product design processes.
- UX knowledge: Understanding key factors that impact user experience, such as psychology and user behavior.
- Knowledge of language principles, grammar rules, and writing conventions.
- Familiarity with content design principles for web and mobile applications.
- Understanding of product functionality and the eCommerce industry.
- Ability to communicate content in a clear, user-friendly manner, aligning with brand tone & voice.
- Ensure consistency in language, grammar, and tone across all communication channels.
- Basic proficiency in Figma to input content into UI designs.
- Basic knowledge of user behavior tracking tools such as Hotjar, UXCam, Clarity, Amplitude, and Google Analytics (GA).
