What You'll Own

As a Product Designer for OneExperts’ OneLoyalty, you won't just execute designs—you'll craft experiences that create genuine empathy between merchants and their customers. You'll design interfaces that trigger meaningful emotions and actions, transforming loyalty programs from transactional point systems into authentic relationship-building tools.

You'll participate in and sometimes drive outcome-focused projects, collaborating with Product, Tech, and Growth teams to deliver experiences that merchants love and that create measurable business impact.

The Outcome-First Difference

Traditional Product Designer Role:

  • Receives requirements → Creates designs → Hands off to developers → Moves to next task

OneExperts Product Designer Role:

  • Identifies merchant opportunity → Defines success metrics → Drives cross-functional work → Validates impact → Iterates based on results

You'll be evaluated not on how many screens you design, but on merchant outcomes you deliver and business impact you drive.

About OneExperts & OneLoyalty product

OneExperts builds outcome-centered e-commerce products for global Shopify merchants. OneLoyalty is our AI-powered loyalty program builder that helps merchants create meaningful, lasting relationships with their customers.

What makes OneLoyalty different: We're not building another transactional points system. We're creating experiences that foster genuine empathy between merchants and their customers—turning one-time buyers into loyal advocates through personalized, emotionally resonant rewards and engagement.

We're transforming from traditional SaaS to RAAS (Results as a Service), shifting from "providing loyalty tools" to "delivering customer retention and lifetime value outcomes."

Our 2026 Theme: "Focus on intention, not feature fulfillment"—we help merchants build authentic customer relationships without getting lost in program complexity.

What You’ll Do

1. Design Execution (65% of time)

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Clarify design requirements through discussions, brainstorming, or documentation
  • Act as a design consultant and propose solutions that align with OneLoyalty's mission to foster merchant-customer empathy
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Growth teams to ensure design direction supports business goals

UX Research:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis using Empathy Maps, User Journeys, and UX research artifacts
  • Analyze behavioral data (Hotjar, Amplitude, UXCam) to identify friction points and opportunities
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices

Information Design & User Flows:

  • Build Information Architecture (IA), User Flows, and Wireframes based on research and defined product direction
  • Ensure logical structure and seamless navigation that guides merchants and their customers toward meaningful interactions

UI Design:

  • Use UI Kits and design systems to deliver detailed design requirements aligned with project goals
  • Design interfaces that create emotional resonance—not just functional screens
  • Obsess over details: micro-interactions, spacing, typography, color harmony, motion that triggers empathy

Interaction Design:

  • Utilize prototyping tools (Figma, Origami) to build interaction flows and test with users
  • Create prototypes that communicate emotional pacing and relationship-building moments
  • Complete interaction designs that support both merchant configuration and end-customer experience

Design System Contribution:

  • Build/update components in the Design System/UI Kit to meet OneLoyalty's design needs
  • Test and validate development outcomes of UI Kit components
  • Ensure components support empathy-driven experiences at scale

You craft standards:

  • Every interaction should foster connection between merchant and customer
  • Moments of delight that make loyalty programs feel personal, not transactional
  • Visual language that communicates warmth, appreciation, and genuine care
  • Complexity feels simple; simplicity feels premium and thoughtful

2. Outcome-Focused Project Participation (20% of time)

  • Drive or participate in projects that create direct business impact for OneLoyalty
  • Define success metrics (merchant outcomes, customer engagement, business results) before design begins
  • Collaborate with Product Communication Designer, Tech, Growth to coordinate feature launches
  • Present work to stakeholders and adapt based on feedback and data
  • Follow through post-launch to validate whether designs achieved intended outcomes

    • "Increase repeat customer purchase rate by 25% through improved reward visibility"
    • "Reduce loyalty program setup time by 40% while improving emotional connection"
    • "Drive 30% improvement in customer redemption rates through delightful reminder experiences"

3. Process Improvement & Capability Development (15% of time)

  • Participate in design process improvement meetings
  • Contribute to workflow optimization and design quality standards
