Responsibilities
Agile Process:
- Participate in the Agile product development process: daily standups, grooming, sprint planning, review, and retrospective.
- Estimate testing workload and propose improvements to QA processes.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Analyze requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
- Execute manual testing as primary focus (UI, functional, regression, exploratory).
- Perform basic API testing (via Postman or similar tools).
- Prepare testing data and environments.
- Ensure all test cases are well-documented, reviewed, and up to standard.
- Manage and track bugs using Jira (or equivalent): create, classify, assign, monitor, and report.
- Provide test reports and communicate testing progress to the team.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Manager, and Designers to clarify requirements.
- Provide feedback on usability and user flow to improve overall product quality.
- Estimate testing workload and suggest improvements in testing processes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in manual testing.
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields (ISTQB certification is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies.
- Understanding of API testing & database fundamentals.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Tools: Proficient in Excel (test cases, reports), Postman (API testing), SQL/Database tools, and Jira (or similar issue tracking).
- Language: Good English reading and comprehension skills.
