What You’ll Do
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Gather and clarify UI requirements through discussions with Product, Tech, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze briefs and define UI standards, constraints, and design scope.
- Ask critical questions to challenge unclear assumptions and align design direction with product goals.
UX Research:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of Empathy Maps, User Journeys, or UX Artifacts, etc.
- Translate research insights into practical UI decisions and prioritized design directions.
Design Execution:
- Information Design: Build IA, User Flows, etc., based on research and defined directions.
- UI Design (Main Focus): Use UI Kits and design systems to deliver high-quality, polished UI aligned with project goals and usability standards.
- Create visually strong interfaces with clear hierarchy, spacing, typography, color usage, and consistency across screens/states.
- Interaction Design: Utilize prototyping tools (Figma, Origami) to build interaction flows, support testing, and complete interaction designs.
- Ensure optimized design quality through reviews, stakeholder presentations, and continuous refinements.
- Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints through strong critical thinking and design trade-offs.
Design System:
- Build/update components in the Design System/UI Kit to meet design needs.
- Ensure consistency and scalability of UI patterns across features.
- Test and validate development outcomes of UI Kit components across relevant environments.
What Sets You Apart
- Experience: 3+ years in UI Design or Product/UI Design with a portfolio showcasing strong visual craft, polished UI execution, and system thinking.
- Raw Intelligence / Learning Agility: Quick to learn, able to synthesize new information fast, and solve problems effectively in ambiguous contexts.
- Product Passion / Product Mindset: Strong curiosity about user problems, product value, and business impact (not only visual execution).
- Critical Thinking: Able to challenge assumptions, ask sharp questions, and make clear design decisions with rationale.
- Ability to read, understand, and present research materials in English.
- Familiar with product design processes following the Agile model.
- UX: Understanding of behavioral science, user habits, and the latest research trends.
- UI (Strong Priority): Proficiency in design systems, layout, spacing, typography, color principles, and component-based design thinking.
- Interaction: Ability of visibility, consistency, mapping, feedback, constraints, and flexibility.
- Familiarity with web/mobile design and emerging technologies.
- Required Experience and Skills:
- Analytical: Personas, journey mapping, and User Journeys.
- Expertise in Figma, UI Kits, and tools like Figma/Origami.
- Ability to measure and optimize design solutions.
- Familiarity with tools like Hotjar, UXCam, Amplitude/QA.
- Skilled in testing and proposing new tools to enhance workflows.
