Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) is a Regional Award Recognition programme recognising entrepreneurial excellence. The awards were presented by Enterprise Asia, a leading regional non-governmental organization for entrepreneurship and held in 16 markets in Asia. APEA aims to band leading entrepreneurs and organizations across Asia to spur greater innovation, fair practices and growth in entrepreneurship, creating a successful entrepreneurial ecosystem which will then shape Asia to sustainable economic and social growth while creating good value for society. With the theme “Asia Recovers – Take full advantage of the opportunity” the year 2023 marks the 17th year of APEA’s presence in Asia and the 7th year in Vietnam.

In 2023, our first year participating in this award, FireGroup Technology achieved a proud success by winning the Fast Enterprise Award(*) at APEA 2023, standing alongside many leading names in Vietnam and Asia such as NAB, VNG, SOBA, ACB, etc. After enduring a three-tier evaluation process, adjudicated by an international panel of experts, FireGroup left an impressive mark through our innovative application of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in product development. This was made possible by a dedicated and passionate team of young professionals who shared a common vision of building solutions with a global e-Commerce impact.

(*) Fast Enterprise Award is awarded to enterprises that have demonstrated rapid growth, in terms of revenue, market share, user base, profit and/or brand recognition. Nominees must be a registered business with a minimum operating period of one year and annual turnover of USD 2 million. All entries must be entered in the regional chapter where the organization is based.

A 7-year journey of comprehensive solution development

From our humble beginnings, FireGroup started with just 5 ambitious entrepreneurs who had real-life experience in online sales on e-commerce platforms. We understood the challenges that online businesses faced and decided to create a solution. In 2017, we introduced Ali Reviews allowing e-Commerce businesses to collect reviews more easily and showcase them more prominently. We innovate to bring a new standard. 

FireGroup continued to create a diverse ecosystem of solutions to empower our customers throughout their e-Commerce journey – from managing profits and pushing sales to enhancing storefronts such as Transcy, TrueProfit, etc.. 

But the journey didn’t stop there. Alongside our comprehensive SaaS solutions on Shopify App Store, we also ventured into the world of Dropshipping with Ali Orders and Ali Hunters. 

Since the COVID-19 pandemic first appeared in 2020, the global economy has faced numerous adverse impacts. However, this has also been the golden era for e-commerce. Seizing the opportunity to adapt, we have made significant investments in our infrastructure and continually enhanced our team’s capabilities to ensure the stability and effectiveness of our solutions. Furthermore, we focus on developing technological capacity and staying abreast of changes from Shopify and other partners to ensure alignment with overall market development.
